Sleeping in Camperduin: right on the sea and by the sea defence
Camperduin is small: a handful of places to stay at the southern end of the Hondsbossche Zeewering sea defence. What you are buying here is closeness, because from almost every address you are on the beach or on the dyke within a few minutes.
There is little here, and what there is lies close to the sea. That is the whole trade-off.
What have I got nearby?
The Hondsbossche Zeewering starts here and runs north to Petten. To the south lie Hargen aan Zee and the Schoorlse Duinen, the dune area that holds the highest dune in the Netherlands. Groet and Schoorl are a bike ride away for food and shopping.
Can I park for free here?
At Hargen aan Zee, a little further south, parking is free from 1 November to 1 March, every day of the week. At Camperduin itself the usual rates of the municipality of Bergen apply. Check it per beach access, because it really does differ.
How is this order decided?
The order below is not for sale. We sort on the Google rating, then on the number of reviews, then on the distance to the beach access. Whoever is at the top is there because guests put them there.
